Every year I try to make a trip to Phoenix in March for Spring Training, some photography, but mostly to spend some time with my daughter and her family. Lots of stormy weather in the 2012 edition. |

Recently I spent a couple of hours with about 20 photographer friends from Rocky Mountain Nature Photographers working with some of the raptors displayed by Nature's Educators. We had an opportunity to photography a Great Horned Owl, a Harris Hawk, a Red-Tailed Hawk, and a Gyrfalcon. For various reasons these birds are unable to be released into the wild so NE uses them to educate the public. They are beautiful creatures and here are my results. |
